Donation to Bowery Mission
Thank you to everyone who participated in our 200 Turkey Countdown! We are pleased to announce that today we delivered a check for $8000 to Bowery Mission. Our partners at the Bowery Mission have used supplies and funds that were saved for Thanksgiving to assist with disaster response for Hurricane Sandy. The Bowery Mission is looking for volunteers well-skilled in resume preparation to help the men in our residential program prepare for a Career Day we are hosting on Saturday, August 6, 2011.
