New York Cares Day Spring is a day of service in cooperation with New York Cares. Thousands of volunteers work together on volunteer projects that improve our communal backyard. By the end of the day, 70 parks, community gardens, and shorelines and green spaces across the five boroughs will be spruced up and ready for the arrival of spring.
On Saturday, April 18th from 9.30am to 2.00pm, thousands of volunteers will roll up their sleeves again to give New York City a spring greening during New York Cares Day Spring 2015. The Rotary Club of Metro NYC will be joining hands with Rotaract United Nations, the Rotary Club of Wall Street and other Rotarians as one Rotary Team – Rotary New York Joins Hands! On New York Cares Day Spring, we will clean up shorelines, restore garden beds, plant flowers and trees, paint benches, and remove invasive species in the community.
