Our visit to the N.Y.P.D. Museum on February 15th can be characterized as various
organizations coming together to support the ShelterBox program.
Program chairs Larry Palant and Susanne Gellert provided a demo of the ShelterBox program. Rotarians from Riverdale, Bronx, N.Y Metro, Rotoract Club of Columbia University helped raise $330 in a raffle. The raffle consisted of prizes donated by RCWS member Jacque Doassans who was very generous in donating tea products from his great restaurant, The Tea Set. The RCWS also donated two pairs of tickets to their Third Annual Film Screening.
The evening featured speakers Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar Marlynne Bidos and Kevin Singleton from Elevate New York.
