Former President Thomas Rudy is planning his retirement to Orlando, Florida, but he promises to remain an active member. He has transitioned from President to a member of the foundation board. As I mentioned the club board voted to establish an award in Thomas Rudy’s name in which a non member that has helped the club during the course of the year will receive a plaque but more importantly they will be awarded $1,000 to donate to a charity of their choosing. By doing this we hope to encourage others to assist the club even though they are not members and reward their service with a charity donation. Thomas has been an excellent President and has elevated our club not only in the Rotary world but in the city, country and world. Our thanks to him for his year’s service!
