Our 35 members from 6 nationalities are spread over 27 locations across the globe.
Rotary Club of Wall Street New York was chartered on January 29, 2010, and then re-chartered itself as an E-Club in 2018 to be more inclusive of its dedicated global supporters.
Being an E-Club means pretty much the same as any Rotary club:
- We do service and projects;
- We meet and exchange;
- We learn and have fun.
But with some specifics:
- We leverage technology (e.g., video calls, online fund raisers);
- Our meetings and many of our fundraising activities are predominantly online (which offers us additional flexibility and inclusiveness);
- Our members span the globe, it’s rather the time zone which constrains, if any;
- Most of us have lived / spent some time in NYC.
