Photo: Membership chairman, Marc T. Hudak informed the RCWS about the following upcoming events:
Nazareth Holiday Party – The Party is this Saturday December 6,from 12-4pm. If you would like to volunteer, please arrive between 11:00-12:00pm. Dress is casual and all are welcome. My thanks to all of our members for stepping up in such a big way! Not only are we sponsoring the event, but we ended up collecting over 50 gifts for the children that will be in attendance.
Coalition for the Homeless Hat, Scarf & Mitten Collection – Thank you again! We collected dozens of hats, mittens and scarves at last night’s meeting. The Downtown Association has adopted our effort as well and is promoting it to the general membership at the club. The DTA has placed a collection box near the coat check in the lobby of the club. Given this, we are going to extend the collection two more weeks until the night of our Holiday Party on 12/16. Kudos to Hermann Walz for leading this effort!
Rotary Holiday Party on 12/16 – We will be hosting our own Holiday Party on 12/16 (see attached for details). There will be no formal program on this night, just a good time and fellowship. As membership chairman, I am asking everyone to bring two guests. Let’s put our best foot forward on this night and have some fun, see you there!!
