March 7: Dr. Karen Sherman (Author of Mindfulness and The Art of Choice: Transform Your Life)

Author of Mindfulness and The Art of Choice: Transform Your Life. An award winning book, that focuses on enabling people to let go of their wired-in automatic responses from their past in order to live a life of their choosing.
Additionally, Karen has been a contributor to a number of books: Complete Marriage Counselor, 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life ( Vol.2 ), Power of Persistence, Recovering the Self ( Vol. 2, #3), and I am Bound and Determined.
As a speaker, she also offers workshops and teleseminars on these topics. She a frequent guest on inter and national radio and her expert opinion has appeared in numerous publications.

Dr. Karen Sherman is a licensed psychologist focusing on providing individual and couples’ work both as a psychologist and as a life coach. She specializes in all types of relationships, stress reduction, and helping people in their personal development and mindfulness by healing childhood patterns through creating new neural connections. She offers workshops and performs speaking engagements in these areas.
Additionally, she teaches psychology at the undergraduate level at Long Island University and is an internet expert, professional blogger, and published author of “Mindfulness and The Art of Choice: Transform Your Life” and co-author of “Marriage Magic! Find It, Keep It, and Make It Last.”
Dr. Sherman holds a Master’s in education from Boston University and a Ph.D. in psychology from Fordham University.
