Join the Rotary Club of N.Y. at this special event on September 12, 2011.
September 11, 2001 is a date that bonds all of us together in a most significant way. It was a traumatic time, especially for New Yorkers who witnessed, and felt the unbelievable events and losses, which will forever be engraved in our hearts and minds. We must never forget, as well, the many heroes who stepped forth without a second thought.
The Rotary Club of New York, along with the rest of the Rotary world, true to our Service Above Self motto, immediately focused on helping our community, which involved many needed forms of aid.
We have now created a 9/11 Remembrance committee to ensure that the important 10th anniversary of September 11th is commemorated in a most respectful and meaningful way. We will be having a special luncheon event on Monday, September 12th, at the Harvard Club in NYC and ask you to join us in making this, once again, a special day of bonding.
We would be most appreciative if you would do one of these significant things:
– Contribute or loan us meaningful artifacts
– Sponsor a First Responder to attend the event
– Help sponsor the event with a contribution to the NY Rotary Foundation (501c3)
– Attend the event on Mon Sep 12, 11:30 AM
Please respond, with questions, suggestions, etc. to:
